1) I've felt the most energized and in God's presence when I was driving and felt like I needed to pray because I felt like something was going to happen later that day (where I would need God's presence and help, and it did). Admittedly, I was on the way to the movies and put the prayer on the back-burner but ended up needing it for a convo I had with my cousin afterwards trying to encourage/lead him on further in Christ and away from the world. I had very little word in my to give but, at that moment in the convo, I knew God was close and intended to use me (and still does).
2) I felt most depleted a few times while driving the past couple of days (ok, so what it's more than 24 hrs., sue me!). I usually listen to my iPod while driving but have felt in those moments I needed something more centered/focused on God and the Holy Spirit to listen to for replenishing my spirit (instead of Amerie, Kidz in the Hall, & Esperanza Spalding). But, I kinda get tired of the same old gospel/inspirational songs I do have (and that I already listened to while starting my day) so I just tried to find a happy medium with some jazz, but it didn't cut it. But, I've found that (at least personally) God has wanted me and the things around me (some of my driving moments) to simply be quiet so that He and I can commune and converse. So, although I would like some more good stuff to bump asap (ah-em, Jules and Daddy-to-be) it's also important to have some good quiet time with God as well. I encourage you all, steal away for a moment or two with God when you feel you need to, for you probably do!
