Wow, where does one begin with this one?!

It's quite sad that she missed the memo...humans are far more than "capital" and slavery has been over. Selling of self in this manner to get ahead, in spite of whatever she will be able to "accomplish" with the money, will only leave her feeling dead.

Shame on her for stooping so low (yes, there's such a thing as desperation but then there's such a thing as just dumb!). No, scratch that...shame on the folks in her life for not teaching her any better/loving her any more than to actually let her do such thing.

Moreover, shame on the school for even allowing it to be known that they (with their fairly sizable endowment) would rather allow this to happen than to step up and offer the woman an emergency loan, fellowship, or something...how heartless and inhumane is that? But, I guess that it's just business and, in their eyes, their degree is worth a person's virginity. Tasteless, uncouth, and downright tacky on part of both parties...

This trick is lazy.

I use that word "trick" because they is what she has relegated herself to become.

There are plenty of brothers and sisters out there who work their behinds off on 2 or 3 jobs to pay for school. There are plenty of people to legitimately "HUSTLE" to get their education and they do it in ways that are legal and not degrading.

Shoot...if school is that important take out that loan and pay Sallie Mae back later. Most of us have done it and it sucks but it was well worth the scarfice when we walked across that stage.

I am just tired of people being lazy (i.e. selling dope or ass) and calling that being on their "Grind" or out here "hustling". Those things sell themselves and they require no skills or hard work.

I feel sorry for this poor girl...sex is a beautiful thing and she is tarnishing her first experience in such a sleazy way.

Uncouth! Someone's back in school! The best part (and most telling) of this video is when the random chick says "well if she's doing it for herself and not for any other reason - just money - then it's a NOBLE decision"

Wouldn't it be more noble if she was doing it for someone else? (like to pay for her brother's amputation or something) Like 80% of us, she will regret her first time. This boggles my mind and we all need to pray that this DOESN'T go down. The tripped out part is SHE WON'T GET A LOAN!!!

I'd rather be a whore than be in debt. That's the message here. It ain't safe in these streets for a virtuous woman

Its a terribly sad situation...what profits a man to gain the world & lose his soul? This is further proof as to how empty & lost people really are, particularly women. Who's fault is it that they don't know their value & true worth? I personally am a victim of not having positive reinforcement in my immediate household, but by the grace of God I was strong enough to discover it for myself. Once we learn it for ourselves its our responsibility to go forth & teach those not so lucky

I see it as a power thing. Usually people give their virginity away before they know what it is that they are giving up. She feels like since shes grown she automatically knows what shes giving up.

Any person who knows the true value of that level of intimacy knows that there is no monetary price that can equal its worth.

But are we just as wrong and misled as she?

Most people on this blog have given up our virginity for various reasons. Acceptance, popularity, pressure, or just because we never knew enough to hold on to it (ignorance). Not one of these reasons is better than the other. So yeah she a ho! We all some hoes! We all had a price. Cuz unless you are a virgin (and saving it for marriage) or you were a virgin when you got married (and saved it for marriage) you found something you thought was more valuable than keeping yourself pure. This woman is just willingly vocal and decidedly defiant about her ignorance.
