1.) I would start callin' 2wo "Darkness" but I know the lighting was just bad. The ill hat makes up for it!

2.) I feel you on that Pizza Breev! Giordano's might be the first stop after church on Easter.

3.) So far I've been staying strong. Bought no gadgets for the computer or cell phone. Still have the same cell phone. Haven't had any of the million slices of free pizza that have been offered to me. Haven't stepped foot in an Apple store, not even the new one they opened in the campus bookstore up here at N'western. All in all, it's been hard here and there but I'm still in the game!

I hope everyone else out there has been able to remain strong in their respective lent challenges as well...PEACE!!!

I've lost about 12 LBS on the diet change. Under 200 for first time since being a Rich Central Olympian.

Miss sports BAD though. I've heard whispers about the new Sox lineup, and I dearly hope folks have been lying to me.

I have a LOT more energy than usual, and I'm finding that my brain is processing a bit faster. Trouble is easier to avoid.

Be clear! I only failed one day when the wifey and I were out super late with nothing around but some pork. A couple other failures came from not clearly defining fast food. I got some ice cream from an Oberweiss. That shouldnt count but the wife said it definitely has a drive thru. Other than that..going strong. Im at at least 3 prayers a day. Feeling great! Loving and understanding God more through the whole process. Been tempted with some other stuff and strong enough to get through it. Grace is AMAZING!!

Giving up McDonald's isn't that but I think about having it OFTEN! For a chick who probably eats it 3x a week and its next to her dorm this is a miracle. Any time I want it I go to Subway instead or eat some healthy. But Easter Sunday night...its a wrap!

This has been one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do, seriously. I never realized how much I shop. Ya'll should see the bank account. I've saved a ridiculous amount of money and every time I look at it I'm like "Dang, is that really how much money I spend?”. I OD'd on Bolthouse Farms Mango Lemonade and I was told that was shopping; but thats juice, sheer neccesity. I promise, I am being tested EXTRA hard. I got all kinds of emails about CLEARANCE sales. Every reward club I belong to sent me those dang-nab rewards that I had to GIVE AWAY (tear...). AND I got a raise and a bonus all on the same paycheck and really wanted to shop. I have been browsing all of my favorite websites (have to torture myself) and ready to burst into tears. 2 more days folks...I can do this.

...Destiny Delayed Until Denial (If you give it up, he will lift you up)

I'm doing rather well. Giving up TV from 6am-6pm not so hard, whether at home or work I use the time to study for my discipleship class which requires my daily attention. Considering I've done pork & beef for over 10 years now I'm pretty used to it, except for the pizza -I FEELS YOU BREEV-. My slight downfall was although I gave up shopping I kind of spent my money in another way...so I've given that up for the final 7 days...Lastly, from noon today til noon Sunday, my diet will only consist of fruits, vegetables, juice & water......

Being more obedient, humility, and being slower to speak have been challenges but a bit easier for me so I must say personal & spiritual growth is MOSDEF taking place
