J.Kwest "Human Nature"

J.Kwest- "Human Nature" (download) http://www.zshare.net/audio/6205424517b9e07e/

Back in 2004, Ant Pharm and I lived together and decided we wanted to introduced ourselves and PureMusic to the world in a more OFFICIAL way than "Feed The Kids" Mixtape (don't even ask. The answer is NEVER). Our decision was to take samples from the greatest album EVER made and create our own album. It was going to be called

Luckily, we only got two songs in before we got unfocused and came up with "20/20"...that's why the intro is called "Startin' Somethin'" and you see a little ditty on there called "HUMAN NATURE". In light of MJJ's death, I thought it would be good to share it with the world. Enjoy. Share with the world. Download link below.

PureMusic Remembers: MJJ (a place to mourn)

We at PureMusic are ALL hurting. Even BreevEazie (@EazieDuzit), who thinks Prince is better (we all have flaws). I got the news while getting my hair cut. My barber heard at the same time, and honestly it's the reason why my hair is shorter than it usually is: he cut a plug in my hair on accident.

Simply put, Michael Jackson was the greatest to do it. When the 50's came and groups sang and danced in unison, he was #1. If the records don't prove it, the TV CARTOON will.

When the 60's and 70's came and funk and disco reigned, so did he.

When disco died and pop rock took over, he made Thriller. The biggest selling album of all time. He didn't mind changing with the times. In all of it, he was absolutely masterful.

"Bad" and "Dangerous" revolutionized the way we think about Pop Music. For 80's babies, this is where we fell madly in love. We knew Thriller, but we KNEW KNEW "Bad."

You know the biography, discography, the genius and the mystery that people will try to make his legacy. THIS SPACE IS TO LEAVE MEMORIES YOU HAD OF MJJ so that we can all mourn and smile together. One memory in particular adds perspective to the many tears and stunned silence I've experienced through this loss.

When MOONWALKER came out I was a fat kid who loved Michael Jackson with every ounce of my being. He was like my big brother. We had the movie on VHS and only one VCR in the house. When things got crazy, and that was often, I would steal the VCR from downstairs, put it in my room, and watch Moonwalker so I could fall asleep (sorry mom). I WATCHED THAT MOVIE EVERY SINGLE DAY for years.

I'm crushed right now. We need each other in times like this. Please leave a MEMORY, a FAVORITE SONG ("I Can't Help It"), a pic, or ANYTHING YOU FEEL LIKE SAYING RIGHT NOW.

Miss You Big Bro. We will hold it down.
